I loved competing in the natty orgs. They always run the best shows and I made so many friends along the way. I still keep in touch with most of them today. I never took anything when competing natty...not even a fat burner. Lift heavy, longer dieting and little cardio...that was it.
Maybe you should do one just for the experience. Been there, done that and cross it off your bucket list.National Level Competitor (Female BB)

its workaroundable for the shows but long term it needs to be fixed to keep from atrophy
Bascially I can still do things like freemotion squats, pendulum leg press, cable leg extensions, so enough to stimulate the quads, and no issues with adductors/glutes/hams. Cardio is also 0 pain. Its just any free/smith squats, leg presses not parallel to the ground, or single leg things like lunges/split squats**worthless college major crew**

Both of them are sleeping right now. They both turned 7 in Sept my girl is doing great but my boy has become more aggressive and it's making me a little nervous. They eat good, drink, play/exercise daily, but his temperament is changing and I'm dealing with it best I can. They don't have a long lifespan so I'll try to keep them happy and loved for as long as I can.
I'm glad you're able to work around it. I wish you the best.National Level Competitor (Female BB)

That does suck.
She's cool, why'd you neg her doe?
I had a torn meniscus in my early 20's. Did some PT and had a cortisone shot and it's been mostly fine since. Running aggravates it and sometimes if it's cold and rainy it acts up but for the most part it's fine. Last winter I had some issues with it and my other knee but haven't in a long time. No idea what changed but just happy they feel better. Knee pain sucks. I hope yours heals quickly.~ In a world where you can be anything, be kind ~

I'm sorry Kim your hubby's still waiting for that knee surgery. That is crazy. How backed up is everything going to be if nobody's gotten their treatments for a year?
My coworker was going to get a knee surgery before the covid and they did all the preparations and then bam covid came and he still hasn't gotten the surgery.

What caused your injury? I've never had any real major injury. Kudos to everyone who'e been through it and had to deal with that kind of pain.
I'm thinking another couple years who knows. He's at the point where, "I've been in pain for so long what's another couple years" type attitude. He struggles so much it hard for me to watch srs.National Level Competitor (Female BB)
