Most of us are slaves to morals that have been instilled into us, our sense of how we should act in the world/what we find to be right or wrong has been severely warped by religions/social conditioning. Merely acknowledging this fact for a brief moment won't be enough to set you free as the conditioning is so strong, your own mind will likely betray you in this domain and not allow you to 'go there'.
Sociopaths are actually the normal ones, they are free, the rest of us are under a form of hypnosis/usually life long conditioning.
Most of us live lives in mental prisons and don't even realise it. Prisoners in our own minds, our own minds being the prison guards too.

Also, people don’t realize how selfish they really are.
Every friend you have or every relationship....it’s just you and another person using each other. Using each other for comfort, dopamine rushes, companionship, etc.
Even if you give to charity, you’re doing it because you get a dopamine rush for feeling good about it. Now obviously it’s morally preferable to getting a dopamine rush out of that than getting a dopine rush out of the sadistic act of torturing and murdering a person/animal.
But basically all of life you’re just chasing a ghost. Like Tommy Lee Jones’s character in No Country For Old Men.
Social media is nothing but mental masturbation too. Whether it’s a girl shaking her ass in yoga pants on Instagram or some dude sharing funny/harmless memes on ********. We’re all chasing dopamine one way or another.

You're going to die one day.
All the stupid chit you do, people that hate you, things you're embarrassed about, and chips on your shoulder are completely meaningless because you will die and it will all be forgotten.
And to me thats a freeing thought. Once you come to terms with your mortality, you can finally start living.* Stand up and prosper crew *

Except this is wrong and too simplistic. If you believe in evolutionary psychology theory, then you would believe that our cultures evolve the way it did because it was the optimal way to survive. Survival of the fittest or that of your community. It was by no accident. That is why you see practices that are common with different cultures across the world, who would have had no contact with each other. An example of this is how widespread marriage was, from the vikings, to natives, to Romans to the Chinese etc. It's not like they were instilled these morals.
That tradition evolved because women needed to be protected, monogamous relationships were better for the community and men didn't have to go kill everyone to rape everyone's daughter.
The reason why certain myths and stories resonate with us, and those stories survive and stick with us is because they guide us through to the right path. And when you go against that, there is a disconnect. An example of this is feminism or the current state of the US, they are trying to force a story that doesn't resonate with us and it won't work.

That is true, monogamy is more a society thing than a hard encoded behavior. humans are naturally more serial monogamists. Really just long enough to see to it the child would survive the first few years, maybe 4 or 5, so they can walk around with the mother then it is in the mans nature to seek out new coom vehicles and spread his seed further. This why divorces so high when you remove the society pressure to stay together forever.

This is an obvious one though and studies have proven it.
Not much of a red pill.
The bigger red pill are the social experiments where a guy pretends to be a 10/10 Chad on dating apps but blatantly puts it out there on his profile that he’s a former child molester/sex offender, and STILL a ton of girls were willing to look past it and say “everyone makes mistakes” or “you sound like you’re sorry about it”, etc.
THAT one fukked me up big time.

Well, take this for example -
Most of us believe that you shouldn't steal and rape. Yeah... I'm going there.
Back in the day, opposing tribes would steal everything from other tribes, and rape like there was no tomorrow. They basked in this. They didn't think "Oh, we're doing bad...", no... their fawkin cawks were hard and they were loving every second of asserting their dominance.
Now we're so conditioned that we can't even let ourselves entertain the idea that we should revel in such acts as our own minds will scorn us. My point here is our minds in their free state aren't like this, that's a conditioning that has taken place. Back in the day, without the conditioning us in 2021 have, many people ****in REVELED in these acts that most of us find to be absolutely horrible, they seen it as their fkin birth right to take what they believe is theirs. Try and allow your mind to go there, just as an experiment... if your mind will let you. Try to imagine yourself basking in such behaviour... try to imagine it's not a bad thing... try to imagine you DESERVE it.
Of course I'd never argue such a point without the anonymity of the internet, as people are sheep and will bah really loud.
What seems natural to you here, and what seems unnatural -
#1. A lion named Greg has told a lion named Tom that the lioness named Sheila is now off limits to him, cus something called marriage. The lion named Tom is super respectful and agrees.
#1. A lion named Greg has told a lion named Tom that the lioness named Sheila is now off limits to him, cus something called marriage. The lion named Tom chomps Greg by the neck, kills him, and bangs Sheila.
"But humans aren't lions"... yeah you're right, though not for the reason you think... humans in their uncivilized state are far worse, absolutely fkin ruthless. If you think your ancestors didn't relish in such behaviour, you believe in fairy tales. Your ancestors were savages, you're a conditioned savage, a tamed one... you got called a good boyo for doing what they deemed as good behaviour, they gave you a treat for acting in a certain way... they conditioned you, as they themselves were conditioned.
We're living unnatural lives, absurd lives, conditioned lives. Our conditioned minds won't let us entertain such ideas. Cus bad. Mom said it was bad, dad said it was bad... priest told them it was bad. What came before priest? What came before he spoke words that invaded the minds of men and conditioned them?
Also, I fully understand that a conditioned population makes for a vastly better society. There are benefits to such conditioning. There's a positive and a negative to everythingFak U say? Cheeky kent ya, i'll fakin fak ya, ya lil sloot

Like the other poster said there are evolutionary primal survival benefits to empathy and conduct restrictions (morals) though. I think when humans evolved into tribes for survival some base level of morality started there because humans were better off surviving in groups than alone.
Agree that marriage is really unnatural though. Humans are not innately monogamous at all. I think marriage was developed much later than basic morals. Marriage is basically socialism for sex and it was needed to keep the labor force content and passive.
