How long do you think you can keep a caloric surplus?

Well I haven't been here in a while, had to make a new account.

How long do you think you can keep a pocket full of cals before your body decides to adapt? I've been going low Mon-Thurs (I guess like psmf) and using the extra calories Fri - Sun. I was busy af last weekend and left 700 on the table and I decided to just reset on Monday

Fyi if you're new to the forums this is not something you should be doing

-Edited to remove the word "surplus"

What he means by "Surplus" is really "Deficit".

He runs low calories four days a week, and then overeats on the remaining three days but is trying to figure out how long he can "hold on to" those deficit calories before he either has to eat them back or otherwise his body will magically make the deficit "vanish" and he "loses" the uneaten calories.

I still don't understand the question..

Current bodycomp is the net result of calorie balance over a given period of time...

I've seen zero evidence to back the idea of calorie cycling with that frequency. There's some emerging science and plenty of anecdotes to support diet breaks when you're LOSING weight, but I have no clue why you'd restrict your intake four days a week if you're bulking...

I'm not bulking I'm consuming 14000 calories a week (which would be 2000 a day). I'm just choosing to eat under 1000 Mon - Thur

Standing by that above statement here lol. Also sounds sorta unhealthy from a mindset standpoint, but again if it allows you to maintain your diet goals
