-1600 rent
-225 utilities (gas/electric)
-800-1k food (3 people eating, including soaps/cleaners/ect)
-125 for car insurance (No car payments)
-100 internet
-400 student loan debt
-250 right into savings account (always done this as a rainy day fund, car repairs/maintenance usually come out of this account)
+750 from roommate for rent/util/food
+500 from wife as her contribution (I make 4x what she makes).
So my load for the whole household is 3250 or so a month but is offset to 2k a month between the roommates and Wifes contribution. This doesnt include any recreation in it at all so thats all extra. Im almost out of debt so I am excited to finally bolster the savings accounts further.

I'm spending absolutely nothing right now outside of Insurances and Groceries really. Made some big purchases like a Series X and a new TV, but that's pretty much it.

"Because the thing about repairing, maintaining, and cleaning is it’s not an adventure. There’s no way to do it so wrong you might die. It’s just work. And the bottom line is, some people are okay going to work, and some people … well, some people would rather die. Each of us gets to choose.”
