Eh, I followed him pretty closely during the primaries and when he's speaking off the cuff he really doesn't make a big deal about the racial issues, but he has to because its the umbrella he's trapped under as a Democrat candidate.

If anything I like his ambition to try new and quirky things. He's basically what it would be like if Bezos or Musk ran for office. He thinks outside the box and im really curious to see how it goes.

We've been electing politicians with cookie-cutter "safe" policies and proposals for decades and nothing gets done. Let's see what he has to offer. This is the perfect avenue for him since if its a complete disaster it will only be to one state and not the entire country as president.
