If they can't find people to take the job, they are forced to add incentive to get somebody to take it, ie higher pay.

Immigrants from poor nations consider $7.50 an hour a good wage. It's a step up for them. They will be more than willing to work for that pay.

I'm not going to defend the Republicans because I think they're scum as well. What annoys me about the Democrats is that they sell the whole "Immigration is good for us" when it is only good for companies who want the cheap labor.

Immigration is good if it's needed or done on a regulated scale based on market conditions. Since the median income of the US is $30k, it's not the proper market conditions (at least for we the people)
