Bad vision brahs, do you do contacts or glasses?

I planned on lasik but life sh!t in my fruit loops like a year and a half ago and I had to do a hard reset. Usually did contacts but when it was time for to renew my script I figured I’d get a pair of glasses and went with the biggest goofiest pair I could find. Have not been laid since then.

I wear contacts during the day and glasses at night. My glasses are kinda soyish black frame ones but they were only $10 on zenni and I only wear them around the house so I don't care

Glasses cause I'm a pansy about putting chit into my eyes. Only wear it for work and driving tho. Although I've thought about getting Lasik recently to correct it cause I can already tell I need to update my prescription with my glasses.. Getting harder to see things for work and end up squinting a lil even with glasses on

When doing regular errands outside I'll wear glasses as well.

When I go to the gym, do any sort of sport, certain outings with friends and family I'll wear contacts.


But with the whole mask thing in indoor public places I wear contacts. Kind of annoying to wear with glasses not to mention breathing in a mask can sometimes fog up my glasses.

If you got astigmatism, glasses will be so much better (like me). Cuz when those lenses turn on your iris and they do, it’ll be clear / not clear blah blah bull****. Didn’t work for me but I have it bad. Lens power is not that bad but astigmatism is pretty bad for me

Any suggestion on contacts that won't make me destroy my eyes?

Still glasses. Tried contacts but couldn't get them out. And you aren't supposed to use them in the shower or while swimming.

So I might try laser.

How’s it going for you in term of dryness and any side effects from lasik? How much was it?

How long did you need to keep putting drops in your eyes after surgery? That’s one thing that’s stopping me rn from even considering it

I found out I couldn't see when I had my first physical for tackle football when I was 9. I legit couldn't read past the 3rd line with one eye or past the 4th line with the other. At that age I was horrified by the prospect of wearing glasses so wouldn't even take that into consideration and just got contacts. Took like a year to work the nerve up to touch my eye but I got used to it pretty quick. The only sports it really made a difference in was baseball and wrestling. Turns out I didn't suck at baseball I just couldn't see. I went from one of the worst players at the park to getting invited to travel ball teams. Not sure why I got so much better at wrestling but probably just a coincidence with the contacts

i had the same issue with the acuvues oasis

Made my eyes red as fuk


Now I use the Walmart brand “eureka” daily contacts


No issues so far

LASIK, you will not regret.

I mostly wore contacts prior to lasik. There are a lot of environments that make wearing contacts difficult (like the desert), so I wore glasses.

Had to wear “BCGs” in basic. You are not achieving anything with those on.
