- min wage doesnt work as intended, full stop
- BUT if youre going to do it, atleast let the states decide it. No reason min wage should be the same in NYC and Montana, that is fuking stupid and will just cause huge cost increases in those rural areas.

The store I worked at from ‘96-‘01 did just that when the minimum wage went up multiple times in that 5 years......granted, the increase wasn’t that much each time or in total, but they did. Sadly, they were acquired by a vulture capital company after I moved on and that ended up all but killing them.

Libs are the actual fascists. This should decided at that state level. Ridiculous abuse of federal power.

It should be a local issue. If people want a higher minimum wage then vote for a governor that will mandate that. It seems like Americans have the same issue as Canadians where they dont pay any attention to local elections and want everything done at a federal level. Federal government shouldnt really be dealing with local issues. The only logic I can see is if one state raises the minimum wage and the states around them dont they could possibly lose people to that state. But really people arent gonna be moving for a slightly higher minimum wage job. If that becomes an issue then they can also raise their minimum wage to become competitive. Maybe someone else has a better idea why the federal government should get involved but it doesnt make sense to me.

Small businesses are dying, so raise corp taxes and wages to cripple them further.
So, the 1 Million+ jobs lost IMO is a low figure.
Dems are anti-business, but raising the minimum wage looks good politically. The jobs lost will be blamed on Trump somehow.Helping one person may not change the world, but it could change the world for one person.

yes, Trump answered this.
he said it has to be looked at state by state basis. but the autistic dems think that is unfair.
you can't just do it on a national level.
why not just up it to 100$. they pluck 15 out of their asses. if the business can't cope, than that is their problem, right? that is what the prick above wroteSubjecting yourself to self imposed discipline is the surest way to increase the quality of your existence

mcdonalds already pays minimum wage everywhere but the US
imagine demanding to be cucked by your corporate overlords jfl
i think minimum wage should have an exception aka be a bit less but enough for the employees to survive for small business
i have ran small and medium sized businesses all my adult life, if you cannot afford to pay $12-15 wages than your business is not gonna survive either way, timer for some new ideas
