Gyms have been shut here in the UK since 4th Jan (almost 2 weeks).
During the first lockdown I was OK. I was determined not to lose what I'd worked hard to gain and got creative, doing pull ups, weighted push ups, flipping tyres in a field, etc.
This time around though, I can barely find the motivation. I'm working out in my garage, it's freezing and dark outside and I have no equipment apart from bags of sand and a pullup bar. Aside from not wanting to do it, I'm not sure it's really making any difference anyway.
I think to further compound issues, I've pretty much spent the last 9 months eating and training at maintenance because where I live has been in one form of lockdown or another for that long, with probably around 5-6 weeks in total where the gyms were allowed to re-open. So in almost a year I've seen no progress despite tracking calories, not eating too much chit and attempting to follow something that resembles some kind of lifting routine.
How is everyone else doing?

Unfortunately this is nearly a universal experience. I am fortunate to have a friend with a solid home gym and willingness to let me partner with him.
Most people aren't so lucky and find themselves in your shoes.
It is very hard, but the choice to be made each day is to keep moving forward and try to be creative in health.
This is not judgment. The struggle is real.
Hang in there! It's never too late!

If incel is involuntary celibate (or what used to be seen as: can't talk to women) then what are UKcels (uk celibates??). Sorry confused by the question.
Back to gyms... my area gym closures were back in mid December so nearly a month here. Bodyweight (done right) is effective but I just don't enjoy it, actually I dislike it. I've got whatever is the gym equivalent of cabin fever, real gym withdrawl symptoms already. Feeling very stressed and depressed about it

Absolutely feel the same here.
Just after Christmas (relaxed the eating a little), I went back to the gym fully motivated. I was eating well, training hard and feeling great. Then lockdown hit and for the last fortnight, I have done hardly anything. I have started eating a slight defect this week to try and lost a little of the fat but finding it tough, especially as I am working from home 3/5 weekdays now.
I have considered starting running again but last lockdown I noticeably lost muscle, plus that was easier being daylight and warm at 6am.
The other thing I am considering is one of the many, many online classes that are offered but not sure where to begin. Nice to read I am not the only one.
