    DB Shoulder Press: Standing or Sitting

    Wondered whether it made a difference and whether doing it sitting without a back rest coud result in bad form or injury?

    Depends on your posture. Yeah though I'd say it makes it more complicated. Goes without saying though that anything can be bad with bad form.

    Would not do seated with no back rest unless it was really light weight. I do seated at 80 and 90deg and outdoors standing with weight belt on. Standing is good sometimes in my opinion because you can use a little leg drive to force reps if you want.

    Seated db Ohp (no back rest) is great...

    Seated db high incline (with back rest) what People PRETEND is a legit shoulder press, when it's not... is also great..

    Neither are a injury risk..

    I did standing military BB with my weight belt on for lower back support outside yesterday. I'm switching to these over my 80 and 90 degree bench routine. Forgot how great heavy BB standing felt.
