According to renowned defense attorney and Harvard law professor Alan M. Dershowitz, "abuse excuses" are enabling people to get away with murder—literally. From the Menendez brothers to Lorena Bobbitt, more and more Americans accused of violent crimes are admitting to the charges, but arguing that they shouldn't be held legally responsible. The reason: they're victims—of an abusive parent, a violent spouse, a traumatic experience, ethnic hatred, society at large, or anything else—who struck back at a real or perceived oppressor. And they couldn't help themselves, they say. In this provocative and important collection of essays, Dershowitz reviews a wide range of recent cases—including those of O. J. Simpson, Tonya Harding, and Woody Allen—and argues that the current vogue in victim defenses is antithetical to the ideals of our constitutional democracy. For Dershowitz, the foundations of American society are individual responsibility and the rule of law. And people who claim to be above the law—whatever the excuse—are no more than vigilantes.

Right? if the abused went after the abusers/enablers, I could totally see the argument. But the woman she murdered was murdered because Lisa thought she was expecting a baby but since she couldn't get pregnant, she decided to steal a baby. She lured the victim off the internet on the pretext of buying puppies, then brutally stabbed and strangled the victim.
This wasn't a case of "My life sucked" this was straight up murder. Glad she got executed. I spit on her grave. One thing I did love about Trump was his hard line support of the death penalty/harsh punishments (though he kind of cucked on criminal justice reform). Two Scoops

Life behind bars with no possibility of parole should be the sentence.
I will never condone the use of the death penalty. It's one of my biggest objections to the Republican Party. Even though I consider myself Republican.
Killing is wrong. Period.I have sampled every language and French is my favorite to curse in.

Trump administration carries out 13th and final execution

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — The Trump administration early Saturday carried out its 13th federal execution since July, an unprecedented run that concluded just five days before the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden — an opponent of the federal death penalty.
Dustin Higgs, convicted in the killings of three women in a Maryland wildlife refuge in 1996, was the third to receive a lethal injection this week at the federal prison in Terre Haute, Indiana.
President Donald Trump’s Justice Department resumed federal executions last year following a 17-year hiatus. No president in more than 120 years had overseen as many federal executions.

Last I read about this some phaggy judge had ordered it to be delayed at the last minute.
The usual blue haired cretins were overcome with joy at the prospect of delaying her execution long enough for Biden to outlaw capital punishment.
Big Dick Don had other plans.
Hope this bish suffered as much as possible.

She deserved the death penalty but what she endured was unthinkable. Her father built a rape room in their house for when he wanted to bang her. Her mother sold her services in exchange for home repairs. No human deserves that. Obviously what she did was as bad if not worse but it shows why she was severely unbalanced.

I'd like to see evidence, if any, of this too. According to Wikipedia, her family refused to cooperate with her defense team
According to The Guardian, Duchardt (Montgomery's defense attorney) attempted to follow this line of defense only one week before the trial began after being forced to abandon a contradictory argument that Stinnett was murdered by Montgomery's brother Tommy, who had an alibi. As a result, Montgomery's family refused to co-operate with Duchardt and described her background to the jury.[19]
They were probably scared of incriminating themselves. But on the other hand, it sounds like her defense team was pigeon holed into an insanity defense a week before the trial.
I'm not denying any of that happened to her, but I don't see any strong evidence supporting those claims either. Also, there are many people who have been abused as children who do not lure/murder a pregnant woman and cut out the baby, or commit violent crimes.
There is absolutely zero chance she would have been rehabilitated in any capacity. IMO, it's more humane to put these people out of their misery than to keep them alive on the tax payer's dime
Edit:
According to this article her defense Attorney, Frederick Duchardt, has had more clients sentenced to death than any defense lawyer in America. jfc lol
