Anyone catch Part 1 of that HBO Tiger Woods documentary??

Originally only got a trial of HBOMax to watch the undoing, but saw the trailer for the Tiger Woods documentary and it looked really good.

Fired it up last sunday, and saw Part 1 was 90minutes. It was pretty good. I was a YOUNG young kid when Tiger was first busted onto the scene so I didn't really grasp how revolutionary he was but holy god damn fuk. Dude was blowing out Pros with 10 stroke leads. That's insane.

I also wasn't aware of how his dad and him both seemed robotic/autistic in regards to extreme concentration and minimal outward emotion. But yeah, part 1 spent the whole time going through his whole childhood, rise to fame, and initial marriage to the swedish chick. Then right at the end some random pornhub looking barskank sits down in the interview chair and the credits run lol. They're saving all the scandal for next sunday it seems. I'll be watching.

Tiger is 100% the reason I started playing golf in 1997. Used to hit rocks and dandelions in empty lots with old garage sale 4 iron.

Guy who worked at the la grange driving range gave me my first "set" of misfit clubs when I was about 12. Saw me come in with just my chipped and dented 4 iron.

True story.


I never got really good or anything, but still play, more now than ever actually.
