I never cared for Hitman games, they seemed to much of a sandbox for me. I may buy this game though just because I have a PS5.

Yeah. Got Hitman 2 on a Steam sale last year and quickly sunk over 100 hours in it. It can be a bit buggy but the freedom in the way you can do assassinations mostly makes up for it. I enjoy 47's sense of humor too.

I loved the older Hitman games and the new Hitman 1 was dope .... But it's a bit boring to replay the missions all over again to get the different assasination styles .... I mean sure, it's cool and im sure some people like that, but it's not for me. I'm much more interested in IO Interactive's James Bond project, I'd like to see them work on an entirely new game that isnt Hitman.

Nah it's coming out pretty soon and I felt pretty satisfied with Hitman 2. The new game is probably good though, but I can totally wait for a sale before buying it.

it is but you have to go into the game with that understanding. I find the Hitman environments to be some of the best in video games. I played Hitman 2 because I got ch. 1 for free or something and was surprised at the difficulty of the game.

loved that chit. i remember thinking the shed with all your guns was sweet.

seems like they've been uninspired. they have a really cool premise that could go so many ways but don't really seem to take it to it's potential

the idea of it being episodic was gay at first, but kinda coool at the same time. if they actually produced more levels and could have kept adding them

Hell ya, I care. I've already got it preloaded and I've been playing the hell out of Hitman 2 these past two weeks.

Hitman 1/2 were some of the best stealth games I've ever played, up there with Metal Gear and Splinter Cells best. They easily dethroned Blood Money to become the best games in the series too. It always blows my mind how many people slept on these games.

I'd probably be more interested if IOI took the original Assassin's Creed settings and worked their stealth sandbox gameplay into that, though.

Hitman 3's Epic Store exclusivity means Hitman 2 levels won't be free after all (Update: Epic is looking into it)

Apparently, you have an IOI account that tracks your progression across Hitman 1 and 2 anyways, so why they can't use that to transfer over sounds really off.

Playing Hitman 2 right now and you can do some AC-esque things like hiding in foliage, blending with a crowd, and stealth takedowns from cover.
