As I stated ITT, it was an epic security failure of Congress (who controls the capital police and was in charge of security). It was a pre-announced, permitted demonstration to be the capital.

Why such a failure by congress?

I think the most pivotal word that stood out to me was the sergeant of arms hesitant to use the national guard because of "optics"

This is someone of a peak breaking point from a dangerous culture narrative slowly being escalated for the last year.

Back in the day, we used to do a situation risk analysis, determine the need, and match the security forces for the need.

When we thought it might be questionable- we always leaned on "overwhelming show of force"

We've now entrapped ourselves into this partially false narrative that proper security is a bad thing.

This BS has got to stop- especially for critical sensitive areas like the capital.

I just posted a few examples in another thread yesterday about politicians using the phrase "fight", "let's fight", "go out and fight?", etc

I was about to wallpaper it but got busy again. Everyone here knows what I mean though- getting bases excited politically, and use of therms "go fight for the cause " is common. "let's fight for social injustice".


I watched Trump's speech live- it's just like the rest of his rallies. And the use of questionable unverified rhetoric is just what every politician does- heck Hillary was the queen of it. Suggestings proved untrue later, etc.

To insinuate excitement for political causes should stop is dangerous- And it in no way was the problem here.


Every crowd has crazies- this is why you have proper crowd control.

Emergency support is designed for unexpected crowds- that wasn't the case in this one- they knew it would be big.



The capital police chief assesses the risk- looked at would historically be the obvious actions and preparation needed, the insane SJW narrative took precedent - chaos ensued.



And after the unfortunate situation occurred- rats raced to political capitalize on it.

It wasn't just this speech, it was the entire election fraud hoax that led up to it as well. This hoax had been going on for 9 weeks. He had been telling people the election that was being certified was a fraud and was stolen. That part of it is part of the incitement because that is why people were angry enough to stage a violent insurrection in the first place. This is addressed in the Article of Impeachment. It's not just the speech. His speech in a vacuum would not be enough to incite an insurrection, but in the context of the 9 week long hoax that had people believing that their election was stolen from them leading up to it was.
