    Let's Squat 5,000,000 pounds in 2021!

2018 we had a squat thread, goal 10,000,000. We got almost 4,500,000 that year if I remember right.

This year, all free weight squats count: barbell, dumbbell, kettlebell, water bottles, bricks, backpack full of books, concrete plates, heavy pole, or anything you've got to squat. Just weigh it as accurately as possible, log the squat variations you do, and get your ass squattin'!

Question: Do we count split squats? What about lunges? I'd say split squats count but lunges don't, just my idea. Bodyweight squats don't count.

    I'll start:

Barbell high bar back squat, including warmups:

    6,813 + 10,209 = 17,022 this week
    Once upon a time (maxes 2020) ...
    Squat 185, Bench 137, DL 205, @ bw 88.5 age 43

I finally got a leg session in the gym with my physio, pretty light stuff:

    12 x 45 lbs = 540
    12 x 135 lbs = 1,620
    4 x 6 x 225 lbs = 5,400

    89,603 + 7560 = 97,163

Good news is my back issue from deadlifting in mid-December is almost healed up. My QL should be back to 100% within the next week or so. Looks like Squats are back on the menu boys!
