I usually just focus on one game at a time, play it to completion/platinum etc or just beat it if I don’t plan on 100%, then move onto something else. I often have 1 or 2 games I play in the background too, but keep a primary focus on the one game.
Now, with my backlog getting bigger and bigger and my ADD getting stronger, I feel the urge to dive into multiple games at once and gradually chip away at them simultaneously. What do you brahs prefer to do?

My ideal usually is to have:
1-3 fast paced "match-based" multiplayer games... such as CoD, Battlefield, Halo, Gears, Counter Strike, etc.
1 Single Player RPG or Adventure Game like Skyrim, Fallout, Demon's Souls, Red Dead, Spider Man
1 MMO like WoW, Runescape, Guild Wars
Currently no longer feeling WoW Shadow Lands, and I quit both OSRS and WoW Classic long ago, so don't have an active MMO on deck. But I almost always like to make the MMO I'm playing the "primary", and the other games the secondaries. Really been feeling CoD Cold War lately, but I'm also interested in Halo. Also have a recent Skyrim save, and Demon's Souls save, though I gave my PS5 away to my brother for Christmas so can't play Demon's Souls obviously.
Next MMO I'm interested in is New World. Next RPG/Adventure I'm interested in is... well several like Crimson Desert, Baldur's Gate 3, Starfield, Mass Effect or Dragon Age. Next Shooter I'm interested in is probably Halo Infinite.i7-14700k

A few Steam games and a few Uplay games at a time. Typcially one open world, one indie platformer/puzzler, and one story driven linear game.

Usually only one game at a time. If I keep jumping from game to game, the different controls become annoying and I keep hitting the wrong keys. I have been playing nothing but Gears 5 for months now.
It's only when the online server is down and I cannot log in, I will play some Zombie Defence or Defence Grid, or quick, basic games that can be played totally offline. I have numerous games on my Xbox One hard drive for that reason."Honor is something that all men are born with. It cannot be taken from you nor can it be granted. It must only not be lost."

one competitive game (currently valorant) + one single player game (currently witcher 3)
also oldschool runescape for clan events or "afk while watching netflix" type of playing
sometimes i also play genshin impact co-op when a friend comes over, but it's pretty rare and only ~1 hour at a time
so pretty much two "personal journeys" and another 1-2 where i chill with friends from time to time. generally i don't like playing multiple games at the same time, but if the games are completely different (competitive/single player/co-op) then that's fine
