You know they taught us in USSR schools that Finland fought along with Nazis initially during the WW2 and I remember writing some report for school about it and my mom explained for the first time that Soviets actually invaded Finland and Finish beat their as* justifiably. It was a defeat that was never in our history books (as many other things).

Many years later, I was at a music festival in the middle of Sahara dessert where we were camping. There were people from all over the world and I thought that I have seen it all as far as drinking vodka is concerned, but oh no, Finns can outdrink anyone and not get drunk. I have never seen anything like that They were so much fun

I think all school books tell us whatever they want us to know, whether communist country or so called free country. It's funny but I just said in a thread earlier this week that we are all brainwashed by our school books. Well to an extent at least.

Second, I didn't attend college young. I'm still working on a Masters, lil bit at a time. During a "Humanities" course they offered an extra credit video each week, you watch the vid, answer the question, easy point. One week was a vid with black people sitting down for job interviews with whites, in all the scenarios it was the same, the white person said "we'll be in touch", the black person put their head down and almost cried. The answer to the question was "racial discrimination".

It was the most disgusting video I ever saw, I said "fuk your extra credit" I got an A without anyway.

I've NEVER been to a job interview where they don't say that, and when they do, you say "great, I'm exited", Hell I've had interviews where they play fuking games about your pay, just to see the reaction.

That video was BULL**** and so is COLLEGE!!!

The best thing about College is access to the libraries, of course there is such a thing as a public library. The associates degree was not BS, ok, I admit that.

It wasn't until I saw the inventiveness and drive of people against that, people like Frank Zappa and Ted Nuggent, I would even Ronnie James Dio had way more talent than the brain dead Ozzy. All Ozzy did at his 80's shows was clap in a frantic way? Ronnie always performed well.

Had I had the same mindset at age 40 as I did at 16-18, there would be no hope, but yes my parents would LOVE me. I always try to read against my agenda, I'm very interested in reading the Kuran (sp?) they actually had a class on Islam at my church, but it was during my working hours, I begged my wife to go, but she wanted to only go to Christian bible studies, I told her, shes needs to understand how her enemies think!

I also want to read Marx stuff, but I'm still working for that stupid Masters degree and don't have time, plus I lift weights, which I'd much rather do than any of that chit. Lifters (drug free) are smartest peeps on earth.
