Sunday Springwood Stairs with storm at the end
Springwood Stairs: 20 laps: Overcast. No change in waist measurements this week. Despite getting leaner
Pushed myself out the door despite it getting on for 12.30pm. Too overcast to take photo's. Really not want to go as get this late.
Had to be done. No excuses and got plenty of time.
Absolutely soaked from humidity. However not think it would rain. Thunder rumbled. On last lap as got to bottom of stairs
Torrential rain
Soaked through my hat and shirt in 3 minutes. Always wanted to be here during a storm
Rain was extremely heavy for rest of the afternoon. So just made it home in time.
Eat 2pm first Breakfast. Though did take 2 slices of bread. One jam. One peanut butter to help brain work.. Still it hurt and was very edgy from hunger. The Iron never lies to you. Friday: Chest.A rare day of increased weights that defy belief
Gyms close from 5pm Monday with Snap lockdown to Thursday Midday. Not working and could not make my mind up to go or what bodypart to train. When I really should have done something
Failed on Thursday cardio by eating first. And bored with it.
Wednesday: Lyndale loop: 43 minutes 9.7km
Tuesday: Venmans:47 mins 3.3km Almost step on a Snake by looking at my phone instead of at path. Tried to find the Snake and take photo but was too fast.
1 year this Wednesday and Thursday since Ruby and Pearl gone. As did this walk on the day Ruby left.
Good Friday: Chay ravine walk late: Fasted. Warm with nice breeze and most people friendly and say Hello
45 mins
94.5kg at gym after 3 days rest.. Beating 93.2kg last Friday. I calling it 1.5kg increase. Incredible
210 Barbell bench Press reps. Unstoppable. Also did Shoulder Warm ups something I never usually do.

82.5kg x 8 disbelief!
85kg x 6 explode at the start. All in.

Incline Hammer : 60kgx12-15
65kg x 12
67.5kg x 10 smooth.. my limit last time did these.

Saturday: Calves
Went to bed way too late as always and felt like death when woke up. Keep hitting snooze. No chance of bike class.
or
even cardio. No reason either. Just extremely sore.
Very glad I went though. Quality workout. And good people.
93.1kg makes no sense.
Leg Press Calves: 5x20 6x20 7x20 8x20
9 Plates: 1x15
+10kg 1x9 extreme
3/ 1x10 stronger. Loved these.
4/ 1x10
5/ drop to 9 plates:: 1x15 8 x 15 7 x 15= 45 rep set
Leg Raises
1x32 perfect
1x30 push hard past 25
3/ 1x30 same.. Slowing down reps and keeping back pressed in. No momentum.
4/ 1x32 extreme again. Squeeze out every rep.
Ball crunches:
1x37
1x27
1x30.. rest pause at 29 to get 30
Reverse crunches: 3 sets of 30 still failure at 30. Cannot get to 35.
back was soaked from workout....then went in Aerobics room and posed. Last done March 2019. Getting to know an old friend

Saturday: Arms; Pump so big it was painful
93.2kg
6pmish: Brilliant cool day too. Wanted to go at 4pm. Would have seen all the cool people.
Before even started talk lots to Michaela and finally have quality conversation with Damien. Been wanting this for while.
Felt like 15-30 mins before actually start to workout
Learnt that J RR Tolkien wrote a whole new language before even starting on Lord of the Rings. Mind blown!
Bar x 50
Barbell curls; 5x20 7.5kgx20
10kgx15
12.5kg x 12 maybe 13 was very hard set.
13.75kg x 8 pushed really hard for these.
15kg/side: 1x6 Beating 3 reps last time.. Actually quite a big milestone to get this many
Overhead French Press: Goals to achieve today. This needs to happen.
10kgx20 15kgx15
20kg x 15 easy
22.5kg x 14 pause at 12 then get next 2 at limit........Last time had to use longer heavier bar. So 4 weeks since last done.
25kg/side
1/ 1x8 fail going for 9th
2/ 1x8 perfect then die
3/ 1x8 same : Takes alot of determination to get bar over the head and do these reps. Feels injury prone at limit.
Low Incline dumbbell curls: 18kg no warm ups. Really needed warm ups.
1/ 1x9
2/ 1x9
3/ 1x10
Preacher 67x12
74x12
81kg x 10 extreme weight... remembering stuck on 67kg for months.
Super set with Triceps
Full stack+2.2kg= 47.7kg Eugene Pressdown
1x20
1x20
1x21
with
Rope Pressdown 31.5kg
1x12
1x12
1x12 probably silly to do both... But the pump was incredible
MTS Tricep Machine... But really I was fried.
50kg
full stack
1x9
1x9
1x9 maybe 10..
Should have done another bicep exercise. Already been here too long.. Hurt to even touch opposite Shoulder. Arms that extremely pumped.
Actually gym got busier at 7.45-8pm.
I see Maddy was here and get her towel for her. She having a tragic weekend that breaks my heart..
BUT
It was so lovely to see her. Such beauty. Made my day to have a few moments of her time. The Iron never lies to you. 5x10
6 plates x 9 very strong
+10kg x 8 try not to go fast and keep load on Legs.

The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told that you're a god or a total bastard. The Iron will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds.

Friday: Chest.
Work today. And could not sleep all night
Hamstring in alot of pain / weird inflamation of left forearm. Like a bite. Gone red and rock hard. Painful. Was not there Thursday night.
Clenched jaw and felt like jaw misaligned last night.
Feel truly awful. Tired and so under the weather.. 3 hours of doing nothing from 4pm till 7pm. Fked.
Get to gym 6.55pm. Nothing great apart from nice chat to Caity on way in.. Really don't want to be here.
Just want to leave.
Maddy comes and finds me on Smith Machine and we talk for the next hour and it was truly amazing. Deep and intense and truly moving.
I spent alot of time digesting what she told me for rest of the night.
Workout ruined? But I not mind at all.
Smith Flat Bench: 20kg/side: 100-120 reps
30kgx20
40kgx15
45kgx12
50kg/side 1x10
52.5kg:
1x8
1x8 strong
1x8
4/ 53.75kg 1x5 felt great
5/ 55kg x 3 start high then low. Wanted 5... If not tired/ no forearm strain. I say could do this easier.
Low Incline Flyes: 26kg
1/ 1x20 tight at the start
2/ 1x18
3/ 1x16
Flat Flyes:
