Bailey of all people now got her own talkshow on Smackdown.
What's up with this weird obsession WWE has with starting their own talkshows presented by in ring talent?
At first glance it seems like Vince has been stuck in the 90s and still thinks talkshows are the hippest thing ever, but if we look closely he actually started in the 80s before talkshows were at their peak (Piper's Pit, Brother Love Show, Barber Shop, Flower Shop). It seems the 80s were even more more obsessed with this than the 90s.
I can see how having a recurring interviewing segment by a star, who is great on the mic enhances the product(A Moment of Bliss was great for example), but WWE seems to be massively overdoing it . They sometimes have multiple stars run their segments on the same show. Sometimes those segments just appear for a few issues, then disappear.
What's up with the Kevin Owens Show? Will it now disappear, that Bailey got a show? Will there be both? It's weird.
