Since you're new, I would strongly recommend buying as much Ethereum as you can. And get it fast. Because you can use both BTC and ETH on Binance to get into the other tokens.

Buy more BTC and then use it to buy UNI/BTC and LINK/BTC for example on their relevant page.

Ethereum is a big daddy and you need to own as much of it, as you can. When money flows into Bitcoin, it then goes into Ethereum... and it pumps all the other mid-cap and small-cap poop coins.

First of all, there will be much less than 1 million btc in circualtion. What if there is only one BTC left in circulation at some point? Or even zero?

Bitcoins get lost every day, without exceptions. The price of Btc will have to rise as more bitcoins get lost and put out of circulation. If the circulating supply becomes smaller and smaller without a price increase, the network will have all sorts of problems. The bitcoin network is therefore dependent on price increase over hundreds of years, or else it will not work. A network/asset that is dependent on forever price increase to work and stay stable is a SCAM. It doesn´t need to become any better at all, it can actually become worse over time, but price will have to rise for the wheels to roll. So, an asset that doesn´t become any better, probably no more useacses besides specualtion, yet rises in price forever is a well constructed pyramid scheme.

Obvious SCAM. Thinking serious banks and governments will buy a fundamentally flawed asset is dream talk.

It´s an artificially created scarce asset that will have a supply shortage if enough people can be tricked into buying it. All by design. So, you trick more people into the pyramid, a supply shortage happens, which pushes the price up and benefits the early adopters. Of course this can´t go on forever, since there is no real good usecases at the foundation. So, at some point it will collapse. 100%

I would have respect for bitcoin supporters if they just admitted that they are pushing a pyramid scheme.

Bitcoin operates on a market. There will NEVER be zero btc available for sale. Everybody has a price.. most investors "price" is just much higher than the current value and if that's true then the value of btc will adjust accordingly to the demand for btc

Doh. I have an old hard drive that failed with some bitcoins on it. Not only did the drive stop working but its also encrypted, doubt anything is ever coming off it. I left 2 bitcoins on it, which was $20 at the time just in case, but then the drive died. One of those things, if I only knew...

Your bitcoin isn't on the drive, it's record is always only kept on the blockchain. If you would have written or engraved the private keys somewhere it wouldn't have matter if your PC broke.

If you keep your private keys you can literally just memorize the mnemonic phrase, and connect to you wallet anywhere on any system. Even if your smartphone, tablet, or desktop is destroyed you can still recover everything if you have the private keys.

Note to everyone... Record or memorize your mnemonic passphrase always offline and off your computer.

I had a wallet that I had forgotten about until I was reminded by something I read, but because I had the passphrase in a draw I was able to recover it after getting a new laptop.

Some people literally just do TA to invest, they don't care what the asset is.

(Though, I do think it's a good idea to a get a basic understanding of what you are investing in, if you aren't relying on TA.)

Ethereum is a cryptocurrency and a blockchain distributed network for creating decentralized apps on, Eth may not stand the test of time but for now it's the no. 1 network for building DAPPS on. (Horrendous data transaction fees this month though.)
