I have insider info that the USA network is PISSED with WWE right now! Evidentally after the Dec 19th RAW drew the lowest rating EVER, USA contacted Vince personally and is DEMANDING changes. Vince isn't all too happy with this as well, as my sources tell me WWE is seeing a major cash crunch with not having ticket sales or the merch sales from live events as well, and their cable deals are a BIG part of current revenue. For this reason Vince is slightly being bent over a barrel and doesnt like feeling powerless, which he is becoming closer and closer to being as the pandemic drags on and on. My insider tells me it isn't sex the USA network wants but darker more adult storylines. And for the $$ they are paying they feel they have a right to direct the show somewhat as the ratings keep tanking further and further.
What's your guys thoughts on this?

While I would welcome darker storylines, the ratings will continue to fall regardless of what WWE does (and they have been putting on some pretty solid shows in recent months).
The era of people having shared experiences over weekly television is over. People now bond over Netflix and other streaming services. As well as Drew and Reigns are doing, it's nearly impossible to build a star through TV anymore. Nobody cares about traditional TV anyways.
WWE kinda knows that and tries to run their own streaming service, but how could a wrestling company impossible to compete with the versatile program Netflix, Amazon and Disney+ offer? They couldn't.
I do not know how, but if WWE wants to start growing again, they need a completely new business model fit for 2020.

This story broke a couple weeks ago, nothing new here. And as far as cash crunch, they just recorded their highest quarter earnings in a long time.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a nonlinear, nonsubjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.
