High fat keto diet vs high protein low carb diet?

    Hi guys,

Which diet is more optimal for losing weight? A keto diet that's high in fat? or a diet that's higher in protein but still low carb?

Which have you seen better results on?

    Thanks
Keto + caloric deficit + intermittent fasting= best diet for rapid weight loss

Makes zero difference if the calories are the same...

Carbs, fats, it's all just energy to your body...
The power of carbs compels me!

Assuming you need to lose weight: the diet you can stick best to will generally give you the best results.

For me high protein, low carb.

But fat grams should be at least 0.4 * your BW (lbs) minimum

losing weight is literally eating less calories than you burn, losing fat whilst preserving muscle mass however is slightly different but only in the sense that you should keep protein intake high (at least 1g per lb of bodyweight) and fat at about 0.5g per lb
