Kattar had no business stepping the the cage against max. Literally looked like max was fighting an amateur. The ref should have stopped it; it was cruel to let the guy get punished for so long.

That postfight interview though, he sounded completely demolished mentally too.

I don’t know how you could recover from something like that. UFC made him feel like he had a chance; they boosted his ego only to sacrifice him to the just bleed gods.

There’s levels in MMA and clearly he isn’t ready. There’s a big skill gap between top 5 to top 10

Kattar is a good fighter

Max is just on a whole other level unfortunately for him and just looked more superhuman there compared to his other fights. Honestly not sure what Kattar could have done there, he was simply slower to every punch.

At least with Francis you know he always has a chance of knocking somebody out brutally, and that his wrestling is a weakness even though that loss was pretty demoralizing.

Jon Jones used to be a phenomenal wrestler. But Ngannou's KO power is still a threat to him
