Brady Haters for sure. LeBron makes himself unlikeable to ~50% of his audience by making controversial statements and through his shameless self-promotion. There's also a handful of players that you COULD argue are better than him, yet the hype machine would have you believe otherwise. Brady is mostly hated because he and Bill were the face of the most hated franchise in the league for close to 2 decades. Beyond that, the guy doesn't go out of his way to call himself the GOAT or make a bunch of low IQ political/business statements, like LeBron does, to pander for more attention.

People still hate on lebron the basketball player so that isn't necessarily true. They will always point to him playing LeGM, having to form superteams and his finals record. And never living up to Jordan despite trying to follow in his shadow.

However at 35 years old a good argument can be made that he's still the best player in the world in terms of maximizing the roster. I think we have to see how Durant/Curry perform this year to really make a judgment and if Giannis makes improvements. But IMO Lebron's playmaking ability which has gotten better with age adds more value to a team than Harden's scoring or Giannis' defense as long as you can surround Lebron with 3 point shooters and paint finishers (Anthony Davis is probably the GOAT paint scorer right now alongside Giannis).
