Just started adding 45-60 minutes walking/treadmill after the workouts (5 days a week). Just going on some numbers, that's about 4000 steps. I guess I understand how some people can do 2 hours of cardio per day if sedentary.... that's about 10K steps. During the day otherwise, I'm lucky if I get 300 steps (aside from the gym)

It never comes off easy, even at 1200-1500 calories. Still very slow. 1.3 pounds a week for me, maybe as fast it gets. It usually drops way faster for me as I get smaller.
You are eating 1200-1500 calories a day?

Pretty much, any higher and weight doesn't really move. variance of 200 upward sometimes, it's probably 1800-2K some days.

but generally if im "on" it's 1500-1700

I'm not really hungry ever. Seems to work fine for me. performance in the gym is fine/good. I run more of a conditioning program currently. This has made a HUGE difference, I feel great everyday as oppose to lifting heavier. My body feels good, Im ready to workout the next day etc..

When I get down under around 240 I notice I can eat more and weight still comes off, like 2500 etc.. but not really otherwise.

I realize this nearly defies physics, but I guess it's just ****ty genetics. Like I said, I'm not overly hungry or anything ever, and I feel better, sleep better, have better digestion on low cals.... so I mean? Do what works and feels good?

0.4 kg loss this week. I was kind of hoping for more. I know I need to look at the long term trend with the weight, but I have been super hungry the whole week and it would feel nice to see it reflect on the scale so it would not feel like that hunger was for nothing. (Well, at least I lost some weight... )

Four days of caloric restriction (2250 daily calories) and this was the result! I always lose weight fast at the start of a diet, though and realise most of it is not fat. Interestingly, my state has just gone into a weeklong lockdown, so I was unable to go to work. I did my normal training in my home gym, but added some daily cardio (just 30 mins on a stationary bike) to offset my otherwise sedentary lifestyle at present.

Thats a month without the gym now.
Still getting one or two 20 mile walks in a week.
Trying to keep strength up with whatever weights I can.
Weights still coming off at a good rate.
Should have no problem getting my target which is a huge achievement as many on here know from the last cut thread I weighed 110.2g/243lbs on 1st September 2020
Mainly gained from lots of Budweiser from March to August during England's first lockdown 😆
Keep up the hard work everyone

Gonna be a real challenge next week. Wife said we will not being going too overboard. Since it's her birthday weekend / month I guess I better do as she says.

I knew last week's huge weight loss wasn't real, was going through a breakup and could barely eat so it dropped a ton. I guess it averaged out this week when my appetite came back and I got back on track with the diet.

Also now that I'm closer to my initial goal of 70kg I can tell I'm not gonna look the way I want to at that weight, so I'm updating my goal to 67kg which I think should be enough.

    Goal: 67.0kg (147,4lbs)

    Jan 1st: 78,3kg (172,3lbs)
    Jan 8th: 76,8kg (169,0lbs) -1,5kg (-3,3lbs)

    Jan 22th: 75,0kg (165lbs) -0,9kg (-2,0lbs)
    Jan 29th: 73,4kg (161,5lbs) -1,6kg (-3,5lbs)

Not the number I wanted to see on the scale, but it is what it is. Last saturday I ate a bit more (nothing too crazy), but other than stayed strict with calories. I am a bit confused with my weight, because measure tape shows that my belly is shrinking nicely. Since last October I have lost 9cm already and 3cm this year despite the fact that my weight was 94.6kg already before Christmas. So practically very little weight loss, but waistline seems to be shrinking. I did start going to the gym again in the January after a long pause from lifting. So maybe there has been some recomp going on due to muscle memory... I am still fatter than last time I was at the same weight though.

    Jan 4th: 96.4 kg (212.5 lbs)
    Jan 8th: 95.7 kg (210.9 lbs)
    Jan 15th: 94.6 kg (208.6 lbs)
