Its a pretty dicey situation imo.

On one hand, shutting down large chunks of massive cities while Congress continuously balks on a second stimulus no doubt left tons of people hanging out to dry.

On the 2nd hand, there was still plenty of work to be had if you really needed it.

On the 3rd hand, people still got weekly unemployment, and many people have absolutely horrific spending habits, so I'm sure plenty of these checks will go to the retail company of their choice.

i couldn't care less about getting $600 or not. that is completely not the point. the point is that this is a 900 billion dollar "stimulus" that is littered with payments to special interests, while less than 200 billion will actually go to the american people. I read someone else did the math, we are going to be paying $3,600 in taxes to get back $600 from our government. Some of the special interest payments will be going to foreign countries and i even heard some of it will be retro pay to illegal immigrants. if that doesn't make your blood boil, then you aren't paying attention.
