how does it feel knowing you will never be able to afford a big boy 550i or 750Li.
How does it feel getting dropped by dude in a honda civic?
how does it feel being cramped in a tiny plasticky made in mexico "german" car?
only people with compact salary & compact taste buy "compact" luxury cars.

There is only 1 car that makes me really scratch my head every time I see it.
What is the deal with that 2.0 A6 with FWD? You are paying for the 4 rings, and then getting next to no 4 ring stuff.Eat in a deficit to lose weight.

I'm sure it is. I was more talking about buying an entry level car from a luxury brand like BMW or Benz. They don't come with all the luxury features that the higher models do and it defeats the purpose. Why spend more for a car that doesn't do anything that a Toyota doesn't? if I'm buying a BMW I want the twin turbo v8, adaptive suspension, laser headlights and the bows and wilkins sound system, led accident lighting, the crystal knob shifter thing, the ass massager built into the seat etc.Mod neg Cry-Baby Crew

Because cars cost much much more in other countries.
That 520i for example in most Asian countries could cost anywhere from 90k-180k for a 520i.
That M5 that costs 100k in the US could cost 200k to 300k.
So they have different engine displacements for sale all over the world and different numerology depending on what the competition is selling.
So if Benz is selling a 100k E300 in [Y] Country, then BMW's 525i (in [X] Country) might be called a 530i in [Y} Country.
Most people who live in the US dont realize that cars are insanely cheap in the US. In Singapore for example, a C43 could cost you about 250k USD.IW3725-04, Black 116520, White 26320

This isn't entirely accurate because everyone's financial position is different. If you're making 75k but live in a duplex where the other tenant is paying for your mortgage/bills and you're basically living for free a 5 series isn't going to hurt you. That's 25k a year saved if your mortgage was 2000 a month. The property is also a tax write off.
This is why I don't like blanket statements about how much you should make to afford car x.
If you're paying some landlord 2500 a month and have three kids and some gold digging wife you have no business buying a 5 series even if you're making 130k.Mod neg Cry-Baby Crew

I'm a bit over 6'2 with wide shoulders. In the front, I fit comfortably in an M2, ATS, TTS, and even BRZ. The only car that just doesn't work for me is a Miata with the top up. Granted I prefer the feeling of being in a little car, some people may hate this and wanna feel like they have tons of room around them to stretch out

Yeah but who wants to go fast on the street with an SUV? IMO the X1, X3 look like chit, and then all the little "M" badges completely diluting what ///M used to stand for. BMW lost their competitive edge and went straight for the materialistic types. The reason the E46 M3 holds value is because of this. Nothing makes me cringe more than seeing non M-built BMW's with M badges or non-AMG built MB's with AMG tags because they got some trim pieces. It's the equivalent of fake badges on your car but it's OK because the company did it.

Thats not why the E46 M3 holds its value.
The E46 M3 held its value cause the E46 was a beautiful body shape, also it was the most recent manual, high revving NA M3 that is still somewhat reliable.
Also it only has value if its low miles. Like under 60k miles.
The E46 M3 is not selling not its a 90s NSX or something.
It has absolutely nothing to do with it being an M-Car when M/AMG was more "pure".IW3725-04, Black 116520, White 26320
