Question I want to be Mr.Olympia 2030 at the age of 50

    Hello guys,

I am 40 years old and getting back to the gym after 3 years. It has been around a month since I have resumed training.

    I have one question.

I feel I can be Mr. Olympia 2030

I want to know if knowledgeable and professional bodybuilders feel it is possible?

I want to know if it is possible.

I would appreciate you if you can tell me if I can, then WHY?

    if not, Why?

I plan to train delicately for 10 years and I want to compete in Mr. Olympia 2030.

My FINAL goal is not to win Arnold Classic or Men's Physique.

I want to be at a position where Big Ramy is in 2020.

I have never taken any steroids in my life(except Clea when cutting).

I do have knowledge regarding nutrition, diet and training.
At my ripest, I have gone to 5-6% body fat according to Tanita Body Composition analyser.

The picture in my profile is after ONE year of dedicated training few years ago.

I have been lifting on and off since my teens but this one year was the only time in my life when I dedicatedly trained for one year.

    I love bodybuilding.

    What resources I have?

I have time and resources like supplements.

    I have knowledge.

I have some experience and a genuine passion to be Mr.Olympia.

Anything is possible but I personally at your age and stats would reconsider for your health sake, money sake would never be worth it in my opinion. If you were 220-240 12-15% body fat starting itd be a different response.

A goal of 220 10% is in my opinion a realistic goal to achieve by 50 if you dedicate most of your life to it

I don’t foresee you hitting 250 pounds at 7% body fat at 50 years old

I see a couple of issues here.

    1. Lean Muscle Mass Size.

    2. Muscle Maturity.

So a more specific question would be:

    1. Is it possible to be 220-240 12-15% in 7 years from now?

    2. Would muscle maturity be an issue?

Regarding health risks what exactly do you feel?

and train sensibly to minimise the chances of injury and over training.

Also I have tendinosis in my left shoulder. It is different from tendinitis. It is degeneration of tissues.

Do not put yourself too hard because of age, you can do it with a healthy exercise and a good diet.

I think to do this you'd need Ronnie DNA and Dexter longevity.

    I have knowledge.

I have some experience and a genuine passion to be Mr.Olympia.
Eat healthy and maintain your fitness. That will be enough for that.

Y not enter some physique contests? 170 22% is pretty good. Good arms are even better. Not everyone needs to be a freak of nature. You could sculpt a body unique to you and show it off in physique.
Learn what lifestyle you're okay putting up with to get your body the way you want it.

If there is a will there is way. You know better if you could do that rather anybody making judgement.

Why is it that every dick head who starts lifting in the gym thinks he can be Mr Olympia?

The chances of striking the genetic lottery is one in a billion.

They'll be demotivated within 2 months, after not getting "jacked" in that amount of time.
