Ramy was the correct placing; congrats to him.
And I'll say this as a Phil fanboy that I am, but he was lucky to get 3rd. Unfortunately, it's at the expense of the deserving Hadi. In fact, I had Hadi 2nd, Brandon 3rd, Phil 4th and Bonac 5th
After the conditioning I've seen him bring in years past, I never thought I'd see it either. I'm glad he figured things out.
And good to see you too!2017 OCB Men's Physique Open 4th place

Agree Ramy was the clear winner, but not overly dominant .
The battle for the 2nd-5th spots was real though. Hadi wasnt quite as sharp as last year in prejudging and Phil was always going to get the nod because of who he is...On that note I'm surprise they placed Dexter so low in his final Olympia outing, I thought they would somehow try to squeek him in the top 6 like they did with Jay in 2013.
Does anyone think having the show over 2 days really adds to the controversy? basically they allow these guys to drop the ball and still they can get away with it...Not sure that is fair, especially for the guys that always bring it( Dexters, Bonacs...)

Congrats to Ramy he deserved it!
This is how I had it:
1. Big Ramy
2. Hadi
3. Brandon
4. Phil
Brandon didn't make any improvements, in fact he looked worse than last year. His quads have no sweep to them, makes his lower body particularly weak in the back shots.
Phil's midsection looked terrible, and his glutes/hams weren't dry enough.
Hadi got straight up robbed, I don't know why.
You could argue Bonac at #3 but...politics.**Misc. Pureblood Crew**

He came in conditioned enough after all these years. Well deserved win. Phil Heath also looked better than he did the past several years though in my humble opinion his 2011 self was his best package and possibly in my opinion the best package in bodybuilding of all time next to Ronnie Coleman 2003. I liked Phil Heath 2011 better than Ronnie Coleman 2003 because I personally think Phil is the most complete and best bodybuilder with only weakparts being his gut and his width otherwise every muscle is complete and he had some of the best body parts. Ronnie was lacking calves and his gut was bad too not like Phils though later it got terrible. Ronnie is still one of the best bodybuilders of all time and one of the freakiest genetics ever. Plus I rather be Ronnie than be Phil because not only Ronnie had one of the best physiques of all time and the most wins but he is also freakishly strong at all lifts so his body is not just for show it can perform. Phil is strong too but he never pushed he relied on drugs and his freaky genetics. Yes I'm aware bodybuilding is not about how much weight you can lift the training is only supposed to suit how you can look your best on stage and have the complete and best physique possible.

You think Phil Heath looked better than 17 or 18?I'd say he looked about the same as 18...similar size, similar condition and more or less same midsection. In 2017 he was alot fuller, but the midsection was at its biggest also.
As for 2011 Phil, it was his best , although I have a hard time seeing him beat prime Jay Cutler let alone Yates or Ronnie.Sorry but is giving up alot of size and even condition to those guys. As complete as he was in terms of body parts his structure makes him lose at least 3 poses to those guys.
2003 Coleman is rather overrated imo, that was not his best version and most in the industry agree. Don't confuse most dominant win with most flawless version, which is either the 1998 or 2001 Arnold Classic.
