For the right price Dana will allow it but he is looking at things like - still milking conor in the UFC, setting him up for another mega fight in the UFC, as he gets older, using him as a gatekeeper / passing of the torch for another up and comer and also if a fight with a youtuber by an active UFC "champion" would diminish the brand.


Conner's contract with UFC covers all fighting, not just MMA, this was a point of contention when he made the floyd fight and Dana wanted a cut from Conner's purse.

Still going to negatively impact my favorite sport though. These circus fights demand more money than the biggest matchups in boxing.

Eventually you will have something like a spence-crawford fall through because both guys will decide to fight the paul brothers because they make more money doing that then fighting each other, then the sport is ruined once that happens.

Right now I think Pacquaio may fight mcgreggor or some youtuber next year, he would make more money doing that than fighting spence.... but he is 42 so if he wants a cash out its forgivable. But we are on the brink of it ruining the sport.

my bro. It's a completely different world and things you need to watch out for when doing MMA vs Boxing. I have seen boxers win and also get beaten. This probably not the first boxer based fighter conner has fought from his UFC to his Amateur career. Don't underestimate a good martial artist.

Conor started out as an amateur boxer and was the Irish champion and Jake Paul is not even that much bigger, than a McGregor, who doesn't cut.
