Built my pc 3 years ago (i5 8600k, 16gb ram) with a 2 year old video card (rtx 2080)

game is amazing and runs at high with ray tracing on and at ultrawide resolution. zero crashes so far.

Hey man the games great if you have a $5k computer. Only crashes half the time. Poorcels when will they learn.

I am playing it with a GTX1080 and its playing at 30-40 fps on 1440p and the graphics set to high. There is no jittering or lagging at all so far and i put in about 17 hrs into the game.

If i lower the resolution to 1080p FPS jumps to 50-60 but i only played it at this resolution for about 1-2 hrs because there is such a noticable difference in graphics when i turn it up to 2k and my gameplay has not suffered despite the fps droping to 30-40

definitely isn't a flop objectively, the only people who feel that way over-hyped themselves for years and were bound to be disappointed no matter what. Especially when that hype overlaps with previous gen console users who were deluding themselves about how good the game would/could look.

It's a cool af game, sure the city could use a bit more life but people out there comparing this shiet to RDR2 not acknowledging that rockstar has a massive budget and global workforce to tap into, this cyberpunk dev is tiny comparatively.

Majority of games ran at 60fps or more way back in the 90's on consoles, 30 fps was never standard and it always looks like stuttery eye melting garbage

Even the most chitbox of Cathode-ray TV's ran @ 60hz so naturally that's what they designed consoles to target fps wise



It doesn't matter how good your PC is, CP2077 in it's current state will not run as it should, there's zero reason my 3090's should be dipping below 60fps on medium settings

Oh you misunderstand - admittedly this is on me -, I haven't bought it, in fact I don't even possess a PS at the moment as I just gave my PS4 Slim to my little bro. All of the games I've previously mentioned were fuked up buggy chits on release, so there's no way I'm touching this before I can get my hand on a PS5 next year when hopefully most of the bugs will be ironed out.

I think the only time I’ve seen somebody enjoy a game so much more than the majority of people was Podunks with the original no man’s sky. Another astronomicaly over promised and under delivered failure and the dude was mod negging people for saying it wasn’t what was promised iirc lol

This game simply isn’t finished
- “each npc has their own unique ai/personality” - each npc is just a point a to b scripted walk
- “brain dancing will be a huge part of the game” - entirely cut outside of the mission using it. You still find the equipment to braindance further and it’s labeled as “misc” instead of junk
- the driving ai literally doesn’t exist
- “living breathing world and the next era of rpg’s” lol

Seems like the game is a shell of what they hoped to deliver but it’s hard for me to believe that they’l iterate upon the cut content and release a 2.0 version ala no man’s sky. I will be pretty impressed if we get actual content updates and not just bug/graphical fixes
