I previously had the Adidas Adipowers that were recommended on here and I thought they were fantastic. I have checked and they are no longer available, does anyone have any current recommendations.
Budget isn't really a problem.

Weightlifting and Powerlifting footwear are different. You are using Weightlifting shoes.

I have the adipowers 1 and 2 and I prefer the 2's. I find them a lot more comfortable. If you can, wait for a sale. I got mine (all black) for $80.

For squats, its kinda personal preference...some prefer Olympic weightlifting shoes like the AdiPower, others (including me) prefer flat soles like Chuck Taylors. I squat high bar and still like flat shoes over heel.Originally Posted by cosm0
