No problem bro. Kansas scares me, right in the center of tornado alley but I guess it’s either tornadoes, hurricanes or earth quakes depending on where you live. We had a terrible year for hurricanes down here, hope next year is better. I only got some small tree limbs down, escaped pretty good considering how many we had.
I think I’ll enjoy another cigar today too, the wife signed me up with a cigar club and out of the ones I’ve received so far I didn’t care for only one. The rest were pretty good.
Have a great football Sunday!

Sorry, can see this thread has morphed into a discussion of the virtues of eggs and bacon but.....
Yep, totally agree with you OP. I'd never really believed that such blatant misogyny really existed in such extremes til I discovered the misc. Maybe I'm naive..... I just cannot believe that the men I encounter in everyday life could possibly think the way dome of those miscers do. At least I very much hope not.
BTW, bacon is extra good if you sprinkle a bit of brown sugar on it before grilling it.

Honestly, the whole forum is 1000x better than what it once was when I joined, maybe 2004 or 05 or 06??? I can't see my join date from my phone and haven't logged in from a computer since 3 or 4 years ago.
But back then, it was a show everyday. It was entertaining to watch most days. Helped me get through some rough depression times even though there was a mix of everything. Kept me laughing. All humans are just a bunch of sporadic clone attempts gone wrong.

Hmmm....
I could make that whole plate disappear in short order.
I'll do three eggs too.
But....I frequently prefer them scrambled with some cheese and wrapped up in flour tortillas, purple onion or scallions, maybe some fried chopped potatoes, 1/2 gallon of orange juice near by....I'm good.
Some bacon may be on the side.
Sorry....I suck at taking pictures.
Hope all had a safe weekend.

Sorry supra...I just now saw your inquiry.
Or, I saw it, had brain flatulence and forgot to respond.
I'll try to be brief:
Back in 2009 (at 61 - lifting since 2008) I began to notice a very bothersome weakness on my left side, mainly from the waist down.
I fought for a couple years but I couldn't deal with my legs going to sleep various time during the day....I couldn't rely on my leg strength at all.
Finally I went to the doc who specializes in what my issue was.
I had spinal stenosis.
As he explained....my bottom vertebrae was pinching my S1 nerve due to loss of cartilage.
Reason: age and wear/tear
It has progressed and I walk with cane now and unable to stand for any comfortable length of time because my whole bottom half just goes to sleep and I can't feel my legs.
It affects both sides now.
I've put my body through some hell so that's the way life rolls.
It does suck though.
I have no complaints....I woke up above dirt again this morning, have a good appetite, never been overweight.
I still look the same as my avatar (probably less pretty by now) just less mass.
Carry on....Last edited by Wayne Evans; 01-17-2021 at 03:23 PM.

It's funny though... I've noticed it can be a bit combative even in the supplement sub... one poster in particular loves to argue with everyone that posts in there.

I'm pretty sure that cartilage can be rebuilt and for sure, deadhangs can relieve the pressure. Deadhangs can make you incredibly strong. For the time being, though, you should consider Spiderman crawls. Done properly, they have immense benefits. https://www.youtube.com/c/Originalst...derman%20crawl

Well....I also have been fighting some painful arthritis in my fingers and shoulders for some years.
Sometimes I can hardly open my fingers all the way or even make a fist.
It's difficult to play my guitar on some days....song writing/playing guitar is what I do....or, what I continue to try and do.
I still play but it's difficult and some days are better than others in that context.
The only reason I made some videos is to prove to myself that I could play those tunes before my arthritis pissing me off further.
I don't mean to complain....just stating the facts.
But....I'm 73 now and more concerned about keeping up my rhythm guitar chops.
Thanks for responding and offering your thoughts/recommendations for an old bird.
Have a great everyone....(on spread for your suggestions)Original music: www.soundclick.com/wayneevansproject

Thanks and you're welcome.
I'm no Spring chicken, either. I'll be 72 this year. Everyone in my family had (dead) or has rheumatoid arthritis, you know, the fun kind. Except me. I've been taking a minimum of 6 grams of vitamin-C everyday since the mid 60's. If you want to give it a try, increase the dosage according to bowel tolerance.

Hey Chazmeister....
Will do!
As we age, we all will face any combination of ailments that we don't think about when we are young, dumb and full of cum.
At some point, in this context, what we try to fight against will only prove to be futile and manifest diminishing returns.
That's life!
As I look back on my life and shvt I somehow survived I'm amazed I'm sitting here typing.
I don't dwell on my past....but, I don't ignore it either and it sculpted me into the person I am today. (ok...hold the jabs)
Hey supra....
I perceived you being much younger....you're an old bird too.
Arthritis...sometimes my fingers refuse to bend and playing chords and staying on meter requires a lot of focus....and profanity.

Shvt....I hope you're right, I still haven't "caught my tail"!
When chiming in on the seldom posted inquiries from young dudes who ask for life advice one of my default responses is:
"Knowledge and wisdom are not the same....know the difference, aspire to each".
Sure, you know how it goes....it likely falls on deaf ears as the younger we are the smarter we aren't.
Ha....still a few of us 'scrappy' ****s left.
It's good to be in good company.
Supra...you old hound dog.....you had us all fooled.

Yeah that's the main Misc. It's full of a lot of trolls and non-lifters. I think they like it as it's a place where they can post what they're really thinking in terms of pro-Trump, BLM, "trauma" from seeing feminists and gays on TV, 2012 theories, etc. that they really can't post on social media without being shamed.
I'm the same way as I posted an anti-Kaepernick post on Facebook and one "friend" said he muted me for 30 days, and other "friend" ripped on me and said that even though I was on painkillers for the broken bones in my face, that this showed my "true colors". I make a similar thread in the main Misc. and I received a positive response.
