    Question I’m cutting down from skinny fat, continue? Or time to bulk? (Pics included)

    I’ve been cutting for about a month now from a skinny fat physique and now I am just slightly less skinny fat, should I keep cutting to around 157-160lbs then bulk? I had cut around 4kg in one month but most of it was water weight at the start.

    15/5ft11in/162.5lbs

    I would cut down to 20% BF or below before bulking. Based on photos, I would say you're not there yet.

    I use the US Navy method for estimating. It's not particularly accurate, but it's a close enough approximation in my experience. https://www.calculator.net/body-fat-calculator.html

    I wouldn’t do the bulking method. Cut down to about 15% BF then do what is called maingaining. You eat slightly above maintenance like 200 calorie surplus and slowly put on muscle overtime. Greg Doucette has a video about it. John Meadows also follows the maingaining philosophy.

    Good evening! I would have reduced weight a little more through proper nutrition. And then I would switch to gaining muscle mass.
