Maybe try. Like I said, I've had issues with back spasms so it serves a purpose. I've had to stop a workout back a couple months ago as my back started to tighten up so bad. I never wore it on bench either but since trying I feel like my form is better and my back is less tight after. I feel like pushing against the belt with my abs helps a lot for stabilizing my lower back.

If you have not figured me out yet, we all have our own self-imposed standards. I was really hoping that I would get 8. I know that is unrealistic given how little benching I have done, but it is hard to go backwards. So I am OK with it, but I think I have more in me to come. Shoulder is feeling best it has in years. Might bring in a 5x5 just for bench.
Thanks for making this thread. I look forward to coming in here and checking out what everyone is up to. It actually servers as a little motivation and accountability. Hopefully some improvements to come!
Hope the back continues to cooperate. I can relate for sure!RAW lifts

I do the same.
Heh, yes all relative, but dang! Great work!
Very much agree!
Since I've been updating a lot I've considered my own diary thread... but for now happy to post here and see the work of others too!
Yesterday was squat day - medium work week with 3 weeks left of work before rest week.
worked up to singles: 375, 395, 395, 395
focused on form and overall felt pretty good. Nice brace, breathing good, got out of the groove on #2, but otherwise felt solid.
3x3 pause ATGs at RPE 6 - 275

Ill check it out, see how it feels.
Its why I made it so we can all share our lifts, progress ideas ETC, it is definitely not made for unsoliciated advise unless of course someone ask for it.
The reverse hyper is almost in stock and I am on the verge of purchasing it, back feels great but today I did a hell of a lot of shoveling (snow blower sucks!) and it is very tight.
I think a lot of folks have journals, think of this thread as a one-stop-shop where everyone post their workouts from time to time, but not in text, but via videos! TEXT ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THIS THREADOn the list for Bannukah

Me? Looks like they are lifting up a little. I’ll need to adjust. I hadn’t squatted or DL in like 6 months due to hamstring then back issues. I have Oly shoes, but hopefully if I keep grinding I’ll get it sorted out, I had terrible ankle mobility for a long time that would cause it, that could be part of it since I’ve only been back to squats for a few weeks.
We got our snow over the weekend. All 29 hours and 13” of it. No snowblower, 125’ driveway, heavy wet snow. It was rough.

The snow would not be an issue if it were just snow, what makes it crazy here in NY is that the Plow Trucks pile up the snow (they make a mountain of it) with the dirt, oil, etc from the street and then it is so packed it becomes ice. Digging your car out is the worse thing in NYC, but what is even worse is that once you are done, the plow truck come again in the night and plow the snow back on to your car. What NYers do is push the snow in FRONT of your car so that when the trucks come by they plow it to the car in front of yours, the only problem is that the guy behind you also does the same thing
I have 3 cars so one is in the garage, no worries there, the second one is in the driveway, that is soft snow so no biggie digging it out, but the third car is in the streetOn the list for Bannukah

Good stuff Plateau! Great to be back!
Bummer. If it's not one thing, it's another.
Got dose #2 yesterday of the vaccine, it was a non-gym day, so planned day for feeling crappy flu-like symptoms. Still not feeling great, so depending on how I feel at quittin time, I'll do bench today or move it to tomorrow and DL to Friday. It's never too late!

yeah, he's probably lying. About 50% of my staff that have gotten dose #2 have called out sick with flu-like/fatigue symptoms. Good news is 100% of them have come back good as new ~48 hours later. I'm dragging today but at work and doing my job. If I don't feel the workout today I'm sure I'll kill it tomorrow.

IDK, companies are providing is all I know. IDK how the eligible seniors get it? One thing I did learn via Pockets news casting, is to manipulate a way to get stuck in the snow with healthcare workers and expiring vaccines, best of luck.
Actually I do believe the Hollywood elites are paying big bucks just like they do for thier kids to get in Harvard and Yale.

Most are not paying out of pocket at this time. My employer pays for my staff at this time... but yes nothing is truly free
I honestly don't know if you can go 'out on the street' and purchase it here. Right now I think agencies are the only ones with access to the vaccine right now. It's never too late!

Vaccine distribution is typically to state health departments, who then allocate to local health departments, who allocate to end point vaccine administrators weather that is hospitals, health department nurses, Walgreens clinics etc. It varies by state, but your best info would be to start with your state’s department of public health.

Awesome fcking workout tonight! Miss this kind of training, was a little winded throughout but awesome nonetheless, each session is 3 sets 15, 10, 8. Upping the weight on each set. The only one I stood with the same weight was the sitting curls, that is all about concentration so 3 sets of 10 reps same weight. I couldn't get 8 on the last set of deadlifts, tired out at 7. But my endurance needs work for sure. I recorded the last set of each set

Sitting Curls? Those are Bodyhard Curls!
I denote them as BH Curls in my paper journal going back probably 5 years.

So I spent some quality time with my snowblower tonight. There was some ice in the fuel line and the gas in it was chit, it was throwing sparks out like 2 feet and the muffler was glowing hot. I dumped out all the bad gas as opposed to trying to burn it up with it running like crap. After that it ran like a Boss easily threw a ton of snow out of my driveway and my sidewalk and Neighbor's sidewalk. A little patience, some diagnosing and a couple gallons of fresh Ethanol free fuel saved my back for when my gym opens back up tomorrow.Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

LOL Nice!! IMO the bicep is a small muscle and in order for it to be fully develop you have to target it directly, for me at least. I know some folks who don't do direct arm work and still have decent biceps.
Glad your snowblower works on mountains of snow, mine doesn't at all. Maybe I need to purchase a bigger one?On the list for Bannukah
