So today was my “light day” kinda like the rest of them lately, but lighter. To the extent I didn’t really do much at all lol. Brought an instrument home though to see what was going on with air quality. Got home, fired up the heater shut the doors, cracked 1 window and went inside the house. Came back out about 45 minutes later. I was really surprised to see carbon monoxide (CO) well below what I was guessing at 200ppm based on how I “felt” last session. It was jumping around 0-3 ppm. Even more surprising to me was the oxygen (O2) was low. Meter is set to alarm at OSHA level of 19.5% normal is 20.8-9%. I ended up getting alarms multiple times as it hit 19.5 and down to 19.2. That is plenty to support life, actually 16.5 will (that’s about what we exhale after a breath, and why CPR works as a holding measure until more advanced care can be administered). 19.5% O2 is about the equivalent of being up near the end of the tree line in mountains (12k feet or so). No wonder I was gassed last session. I’m basically doing altitude training . What is weird is I don’t know what gas or gasses are taking the place of missing 02. It’s not CO, could be CO2, and a variety of other combustion byproducts (1% is 10,000ppm and would be nearly instant death if it were CO or a large variety of other gasses). I’m curious now. Anyway I took a vid. Dog wasn’t really wanting to wrestle as much as usual. (He was probably thinking we are going to die in here you idiot). He did fuk up a bench set by coming and sticking his nose in my armpit mid set.

This dog loves to wrestle and rough house with me (he's about 95 lbs). He doesn't even try to with the wife/kids (which is good). I'll be walking past him and he'll jump into his play stance and start growling an lunging at me. He just mouths me but the flailing paws have scratched me up more than once. Earlie in the year the kids were wrestling on the trampoline and he ran and jumped up there. Tore right through the safety net like the Kool-Aid man going through a wall.

Thanks. It was only 115, I think I can move up to 125 next.
I'm not sure whether the beltless way would help me. My lower back is strong but has over 20yrs. of furniture moving on it. The muscles will basically pump up and stiffen to the point I have to stop the workout sometimes beltless. Thankfully, knock on wood, I have not real joint issues other than the left knee I can just wrap up good and it's ok.

Never say ONLY when referring to weight, IMO weight is relevant to the person lifting it and as long as someone is giving it 100% to get the weight moving that is all that matters. Although, you must have heard me say in my video (if you watched it) that I was ONLY squatting 185lbs, but that is because I myself could do way more than that, so that is a backwards move for me. But if 185lbs was my working weight that I was giving my all to, then I would proudly post that sh!t any day of the week.
Anyway, like I said you made that look easy, so props!
As for the belt, I am not against or for it, just that no belt worked for me.On the list for Bannukah

Yesterday was a solid day getting ready for my 1RM testing next week; did 3X1 DL @435 and benched 3x2 @ 275, felt really smooth. Starting to feel each phase of the lifts connecting into one smooth movement.... feeling great!

This is how it's done... Just take the alphanumerics from the youtube link located after the = sign of the url and insert between the start and stop youtube brackets
in the example I gave you need to close the end bracket. I inserted a space so you could see it...

Some nice lifts in here!
My last heavy deadlift session of 2020. I go to get my left knee meniscus finally fixed on the 28th. 2021 is going to be all about rehab and trying to get back to a 3 plate squat after I finally get healed up.
Hit a 405 single before this one and I should have added a tweener set in there to prime for 455 but it moved none the less.

Good lift. I'd be interested to hear how it goes with the knee. I have a double tear in my left, pretty much no meniscus's (menisci? meniscus'?). It hasn't been too bad as long as I use wraps for deads and squats. Running or jumping is a no go though. It'll swell the size of an egg out the left side of my knee cap if I do.

That is a bonus of the home gym! I go home at lunch to lift and it saves me some time to lift in the jeans I am wearing for work.
I hope it goes well. I have issues doing any jumping or side to side movements right now. Along with this my on squats if I push it too heavy I get a Baker Cyst on the back of my knee. Luckily I have still been able to jog and ride a bike for some form of cardio.
Hoping this will allow me to get back to somewhat my old self.
