He worked his way to the top, faced some adversity but finally found his place with the stone cold gimmick and never looked back. He had better actual wrestling skills and was more iconic

Idk man. Watch the last time he showed up on Raw like a year ago. His charisma is just through the roof, and his character comes off as totally authentic. Pretty much like he's just playing himself, not some jump the shark personality.

Hogan was over as **** when he returned to WWE in 2002 for some reason. I didn’t understand it after leaving WWF a decade earlier and his reputation for backstage politics while in WCW.

Honestly though, I'd go with Mick Foley because for someone with hardly any actual in-ring talent and a dumpy body dude put on the best matches I've ever seen. A+ mic skills, A+ charisma, A+ work-rate.
