I asked my wife what she thought of this, and she said it was weird, I asked my brother who is the polar opposite of me, and he said the same.
What is it with the media and social media just trying to turn men into pussies? Or am I wrong and this is totally normal? What happens when life gets hard and daddy's bosom isn't around for this guy to snuggle into?
Below are some of the comments about the above picture.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Bruh 16 years old unless he has autism or some type of illness that is not normal. My dad isn't the affectionate type so I can only speak to my experiences but that is not normal.

I'm almost 40 years old and would give anything to embrace my dad again. I've buried a Father and a child and let me tell you, I squeeze my two other children always.

My father wasn't the affectionate type besides a handful of times in his life, so we would never do anything like that. I can't say I'd do this to my kids as well
However showing love and affection within your family shouldn't be looked down upon. I'm in my early 30's and there's nothing more I'd want right now than to give my dad a 5 minute hug

The majority of men seem to mistake kindness for weakness. As if the only part of being strong is to be mean. Strength isn't the assertation of force over others. A lot of y'all on some beta level insecurity chit.
I don't know either lol

My dad's dead and if he magically came back to life this moment, I wouldn't do that. Cringe as fuk and a great way to raise a beta simp, doomed to live a life of mediocrity.

That's weird to me. Like I'm all for affection but when you're basically a grown man, you don't routinely snuggle up and fall asleep draped over your father's lap like a cat.
I don't consider this a big deal BTW, it's more like a cultural difference than something that's just wrong."A stupid man's report of what a clever man says can never be accurate, because he unconsciously translates what he hears into something he can understand."

Well the 16 year old is the grown man in this scenario. His father by encouraging this behavior is turning him into a pansy who won't be able to endure hardship. You have to keep in mind that one day this guy may have to defend his family to the death, and what will he do when his father is not there to comfort him? Life is hard, and this guy doesn't look like he's prepared.
This, y'all muthafukas need to learn to read the whole post. When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way.
