Getting older is depressing. Thought it’d be different mang

    Just enjoy the midweek rant

Sitting here in a supplement shop lying to customers about this ‘amazing’ product.
Shifts recently cut down because business is chit.
Have to go back to my old job that I didn’t like for half the week to make ends meet.
Starting my own business because money seems to be better that way and I need security.
    Have a mortgage to pay.
    Bills.
    Saving for engagement ring.
Kids and family life being discussed.

My life is great but this is a hell of a lot of stress and responsibility.

Use to sneak out of the house at 15 to graffiti until the sun came up.
Ran from police and loved it.
BRB underage, not worried about jail.
Got knocked out with a baseball bat one time and still went home with the feeling it was still a good night lol
Got stoned and drunk every weekend.
    The occasional sloot was fun.

    Growing up is tough brahs

Edit: I should mention that this wasn’t supposed to be a dead end job. I was basically going to manage the shop and franchise when we ended up opening more stores but business is so chit that that’s not going to happen. Not now at least. I love working here but I gotta chase the money.

Social support of family will make you feel better.

Totally agree. Don’t get me wrong, you couldn’t pay me these days to live how I did when I was young.

Not too sure about that. I'm 24 and feel like life is only truly starting for me. I've been working my ass off to set myself up nicely for when I'm in my late 20's early 30's and so far so good.

99% of peoples problems come from situations they put themselves in. Ie, getting married, having kids, trying to attain higher social status by buying a mercedes, loans.... if you want to be happy, buy a $10,000 cabin in the woods and sit around and chill.

Yeah even young adult life was fun. Living at home, getting a low level job where you had fun and cut up a lot. Always figured things would be better by now but they really aren't.

It’s just that I couldn’t wait to grow up and when you get here it’s like.. that’s it? I stress really easy and I didn’t work very hard in my teens and early 20’s. Luckily I have the certifications to start my own business now. That’s the best thing I did for my career

That sounds pretty amazing I won’t lie lol it’s not about social status, my gf and I are considering deleting all socials to concentrate on us. I want the family and it’s only being discussed but nothing planned as of yet. Bro I just want to play gta3 and eat snacks with my grandmas neighbour again lmao

I should have been more specific. We’re not trying for kids yet. I plan to marry her early 2022. I think of it that way too. I guess kids would be the best reason to get up and get chit done. I’m excited for it, just nervous. I guess that’s normal

    You are forgetting money.

I was a homeless guy with all the "freedom and time" in the world. No money to have a decent meal though.

Now, I have ZERO free time but more money than I can spend.

    I prefer now 1000000000x.

Did you not have a plan on where you wanted to be by a certain age and a list of goals you'd like to accomplish? The only thing I really regret in my short life so far is all the time I spent playing video games. Thankfully I learned that lesson relatively young and can adjust accordingly.

    You over estimate "most people"

My business is next to a supplement store. They make good money.

I didn’t. Honestly I thought I wouldn’t make it to 30 but here I am, just a year away. I pissed my life away and only just started taking it seriously. Better late than never I suppose

I feel you. Neither did I. Well, it’s semi-together I guess. At least I have my own place etc

I sort of did the same thing, but I'm 27. Thankfully I have no debt, 115k saved up, a job that pays 75k and working on getting my degree this next coming semester. But can't help and think about my childhood and when I was 18 - 26 with not a care in the world about anything. I've actually been thinking about it a lot recently. However, a lot of miscers claim that your 30s are better than your 20s so we will see.
I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time; never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the American people. Thank you.
