Can you critique my bench routine please?

Recently have been able to go up in weight dramatically do to a quick diet change... just eating a lot more carbs and my strength has been going through the roof!

Heres my current routine.. I am trying to always add a few more reps, or add more weight etc

    Bench 135 x 5, 185 x 3, 225 x 1, 245 x 1, 275 x 1 1/2, 1 (max weight)
    Then I do 225 x 10, 185 x 10

and move on to other exercises.

I typically do this type of work for most exercises however, go a bit lighter so I can pump out more reps on other exercises.

    What do you guys think?

    Any input is appreciated.

If you see that it works for you, do not leave it. The problem is stalling and not moving forward.

Basically sounds like ramping up and then dropping the weight for more volume. It’s a very common way of programming. Not sure how many times a week you do bench press and variations, but I am doing 3 times a week right now and these are the best gains I’ve ever seen for my bench. I would give upping the frequency a try if you want to.
