That's going to be the final bail in the coffin for a lot of pubs, they've not exactly had a great year so far and this might finish many of them off.

I think your referring to the SNP, who also tried to ban two-for-one Pizza deals to stop the Scottish obesity problem. The new Bill that they are trying to pass is a hate crime and public order bill that puts aside intention, meaning that if an actor who plays a role that causes offence to someone, then that actor could be charged under the new bill. The issue with the Bible is that parts of it are offensive therefore could be construed as offensive under the new bill.

The new Bill will not be passed as it currently stands.

This seems more down to personal opinions on what people should be doing with their own time and not backed by scientific analysis of the spread of Covid.

Measures that actually go towards limiting the spread of Covid - I can listen to. However using the virus as a means of manipulating the population in to different behavior - nope.

I'd like to see that also, as the UK government is losing millions of £ every week that pubs are shut.

On average for every pint sold in a pub, 54 pence goes to the government in tax!!

i remember that , i know i wasn't out that night just stayed in the house drinking juice and until 1 am then went to bed , that weather is normal for Scotland ,unsure how many times they have stopped it

You never post in the training areas, I don’t even believe to do any such intense exercise to be honest. With that hypothesis we could find that Covid spreads via gyms and people training but you still gonna ignore the science that the excersice your doing will help you survive Covid? I know your gonna mention vulnerable, well then there’s that thing called tough love, or stay away from the vulnerable. It would make no sense to force someone to stop doing an activity that fights Covid versus not trying to force a vulnerable person to do something to help themself.

The first 5 or so years I kept a journal on this site but no I don’t offer much in training advice outside of some bit of experience I can share with people starting out. Although the journals is where I still spend the majority of time reading on this site; lots to learn there.

As for your training I have quite a bit of respect for what I have seen in your posts. The rest of your nonsense is pretty solid example of why trolling is not quite as easy as one would think. There are some pretty sharp forum trolls in the Big Misc who manage to troll people within the rules, bait people into insulting them, and then get other "benevolent" posters banned. This takes some intelligence, humor, EQ, and writing abilities. You have none of these.

Ha ha.. great loophole. Just seen in England you will not be allowed to buy alcohol in pubs when they open on Wednesday unless served during a "substantial meal" but a substantial meal is really poorly defined and bar snacks may count

Specific example is a Scotch Egg, which apparently counts!! (According to government minister) So, I believe I can order 2 pints and a Scotch Egg (or similar) per person?
