How are we brahs? Quick intro / Story.

I’m Jack, 22. From a young age, had a not so easy life you could say, forced out of home early and due to stress it brought on epilepsy. At 15 / 16, I was forced into work. Obviously $400 a fortnight from the government wasn’t going to be enough to sustain living. At this point I didn’t really care about anything, refused medication or treatment. I wanted to die. I suffered with addiction for a long time but was always a hard worker and partied harder. Aussie culture at its finest BRAH.

I’m coming up 3 months seizure free and have recently been going to the gym. I cannot stress this enough and no hate if you use steroids, I have no intention or interest for them, I refuse pre workout for my own health reasons.

OP, are you on meds now? How do you feel epilepsy impacts your workouts?

I take Epilim 200 x 2 in the mornings, generally workout after work and try to go as its wearing off, 4/5pm and take my second dose about 7:30/8.

It doesn’t effect me too much, once you get used to the medication it really isn’t that bad, for the first month you feel super tired and can barely do anything
