This forum used to be a lot better with the "What do" threads and when OPs actually posted pics when talking about a girl. These days, even non-red OPs have the balls to post a thread without providing pics. That **** used to catch you a neg train back in the day. I actually think the Misc has been on a good tear lately. The incel, political, and coronavirus threads are what bring it down.

I feel like forums are a much healthier form of interaction. This place actually feels like a small community (as much as possible through internet at least). Whereas social media has none of that feel tbh. Facebook possibly, but definitely not IG or Tik Tok.

Even FB is limited to status conversations though, not like making a thread and being able to post with real discussions.

It really baffled me how Forums just died so quickly. Did people just get tired or just lazy? Was it facebook that did it or twitter? or was it Reddit, I actually think it was Reddit, because during the time of the forums they had Myspace and Facebook and forums were still active.

So Im thinking its Reddit the super message board that took all the traffic.

Good to see an OG up in this, I never joined until 2009 but lurked back in 2003 and 04 onward. I think also part of the issue is the homepage is ****, they changed it to make it look like a storefront, that could have turned people off, the old bb.com format was better they had store but articles describing the supplements and articles and videos and stuff on the homepage of how to supp, diet and get big, etc and featured members.

Now its kinda hard to navigate its all storefront mostly. plus they lost the olympia streaming rights, I remember Amazon started streaming Olympia.

We just stopped being FA dude. Back when I joined late 2011/2012 there were soo many FAs lmao RH had about 7-10 of us consistently posting threads. On top of that were randos and alts.

A lot of the brahs were 18-21 so I think we just started getting life experience and actually learning from it. Seems like the forum in general is aging out. A few years ago I stopped seeing as many young guys around that age posting. Probably too busy on snap, IG, reddit, facebook, youtube. Back then these apps were a shell of what they are now. Misc can't compete anymore.

There was a timeline merge in 2015 man. So many things point to that. Yeah there were so many FA's here and probably at least a few dozen FA threads per day + the FA thread was active daily until 2015. Then they all just stopped posting at the same time. Makes no sense man.
