Tight armpit caused by strain or possible SLAP tear?

I strained my pec about 1.5 weeks ago and ever since straining my pec, my armpit has felt super tight, as if there is a knot right there. Went to my orthopedic doctor today and she did an ultrasound scan and said that everything looks fine.

Now back in April an MRI scan on my right shoulder said that I might have a SLAP tear but after consulting with two orthopedic surgeons, both recommended against surgery. I’m in no pain at all but my left shoulder does feel better than my right shoulder.

Who here has experienced that same discomfort in their armpit? Has anyone with a SLAP tear experienced this discomfort? Lastly, does anyone have any good tips to get rid of that tightness?

maybe it's tightness in subscapularis? It can get tight if you did a lot of bench presses.

My doctor did mention the subscapularis. The tightness has gotten considerably better but it’s still present. Do you know any good exercises or stretches for the subscapularis?
