If you're really constipated and hurting, go to a local drug store and grab magnesium citrate. Drink 5-6oz of it(half the small bottle)

It's an osmotic saline that works the fastest(no cramping)

You'll be pooping in 20-60 minutes


Fair warning: it's going to clear out your colons by drawing a ton of water, expect to be chitting for the next 12-24 hours so drink a lot of fluids

Laxatives are cheap, I always recommend Miralax(osmotics) to patients to avoid cramping commonly associated with stimulant laxatives(sennosides)
