Not even close, bro. The best years, IMHO, were well before 2008. Much more relaxed rules, better trolls and trolling, funnier content, and there was the sex section, which was golden. I'm not saying 2011ish was ****, because it wasn't, but years before that were so much better.

The end of 2008 is actually when the forum started nose diving. Candyjunkie killed himself on stream and like 5ish people were modded because of it. Rules got more strict and more mods were needed to ensure no potential lawsuits would happen because of the ****ery that went on back then.

Mods were huge contributors in their sections, and many would come to Misc to BS. A lot of them felt like one of us.

We could bust balls, troll, and hurl insults and it was mostly good fun. Today it feels like most people are plain a-holes.
