This is a video of my 82 years old training partner Ernest Curling 45kg in the gym yesterday.

So a digression, but I love those occasional stories where some muggers pick on a very elderly person... who turns out to be a former boxing champion and punches their lights out.

Now in no way would I be pleased to hear anyone tried to mug Ernest, but I reckon if they did... there'd be another one if those "2 muggers given ferocious beating by 82 year old man" stories in the media.

He just keeps getting better!!! Thanks for posting.

Ernest is a 2nd Dan Black belt in Karate as well which he done in is 70s, he also holds the world record in the Deadlift with the WDFPF and national records as well with his best competition lift being 220kg and 225kg in the gym both done in his late 70s, he also competed in the Discus, Shot Putt and Hammer at the World Masters Athletics Championships 2 years ago Winning a Silver medal in his age class.
