Okay so I'm an intermediate lifter, i have been lifting for a while now but i always seem to struggle with my food.
I live in a thrid world country and my daily schedule is always packed so it is hard for me to get in all the food i need during the day so i kinda shove it all at night after my work (night job) .
So i wake go to the gym then go to work (i do this 4 days a week)
And another 2 days i go to basketball practice then to work.
Usually i eat like 2 bananas and a cup of coffee before the work out and drink a total of 4 scoops of protein at 2 different times during my work shift. And consume most of my daily carbs at night before bed.
So i was thinking is it okay if i drink one of the protien shakes before working out! Will it be consumed as fuel? If so is that okay?
Also is it better yo drink casien at night instead of whey? Would it make a difference?
So if you guys have any suggestions to better time my protien and carb i take iw would very much appreciate it , also if there are some easy carb recipes that i could take to work and eat cold cause there is no microwave there

I believe Adam was referring to the cons of getting all your protein from the same source and the lack of diverse micronutrients that would result from this. He also has mentioned in the past that he just goes for IIFYM. Im not sure where you gathered discussion about MPS from.

Uh... just because I don't demonize foods doesn't mean I'm an extremist...
Protein shakes are processed supplements, they offer little in terms of relative satiety or micronutrients, and they are also not regulated by a governing body...
Having a VARIED diet is very important if you want to optimize health.
I never said it would kill you, but is it optimal? No, it isn't...The power of carbs compels me!
