I live in a regional centre in NSW (Dubbo). It is a bit of a hub for the state.
I have always had an interest in comic books (Marvel, DC, Vertigo, etc).
This idea wouldn't bank me millions, it would be just a small business for a bit of extra money.
Open up a small shop selling comic books and related things in a small shop.
I'd service the Central West (including Orange, and Bathurst, for example), by initially, going to these towns once a month for deliveries.
I'd have an online presence, but it might be hard to ship to other areas other than the Central West as delivery costs are high.
I wouldn't have a lot of weekly expenses (I can rent a shop for around $200 odd a week) plus weekly/monthly inventory.
I would also bank on the fact that comic book fans wouldn't just get one title, but I'd say the average fan would probably collect around 10 titles a month or so.
It would be a passion project of mine, more than anything, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like it to make a bit of money either.
Any thoughts/opinions?

Nah, there is a shop here that sells RP games, Pokemon cards, etc and they open at 12pm till whatever. A teacher here used to own a similar shop to this and she would open after work, at around 4-5pm
I am a teacher, so the plan would be to open after work and stay there until 8-9pm on weekdays and then half a day on weekends.
