Hi guys. I have a concern about any competing possibilities in my case. I'm an international student in the US, so I have a student visa. I wanna start to do competitions, but I am not sure if I can do that with visa. I asked an immigration lawyer and he told me that I can't do any shows in the US, because it can be a violation of visa rules. But I can compete in any other country. Is this true? I can't to compete in any bodybuilding shows in the US at all?
I'd be really happy if someone can help me with this. Thank you.

I'm not an immigration attorney, but I would think as long as you are competing as an amateur there should not be an issue. I don't know if you are allowed to work on a student visa, but if you competed as an amateur, you wouldn't be making money. That's just my personal opinion, but if you have any doubts, I would listen to the attorney.
